About Me

I’m Andrea Pukteris, designer, professor, department chair, certified coach, author, and creative entrepreneur. My work sits at the intersection of design, education, and personal transformation. I help architects, academics, and creative professionals design lives and careers that reflect both their values and their vision.

Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of students, professionals, and leaders through moments of transition. From studio to practice, from burnout to clarity, from hesitation to confident direction. Whether you’re building a business, reimagining your academic path, or aligning your creative work with your life’s purpose, I’m here to help you design that evolution intentionally..

What has been my journey, so far …

My own path has been one of building, learning, and reimagining. I hold degrees in Architecture and Museum Studies, and serve as Chair of an Architecture Department, where I mentor emerging designers and future educators.

I also hold a Professional Coaching Certificate from the John Molson School of Business and am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My background in design and education shapes how I coach, blending analytical clarity with creative exploration.

Along the way, I’ve published four books, launched a t-shirt company, and collaborated with countless creative minds who, like me, thrive at the crossroads of art, intellect, and entrepreneurship.

Each step in my journey has been guided by one belief:

That creativity isn’t just what we make: it’s how we live, lead, and evolve

What is my approach?

I coach through a lens of design thinking, leadership development, and creative alignment. Together, we explore where you are, what’s shifting, and how to move forward with purpose.

My coaching style is:

  • Reflective: holding space for depth and discovery

  • Strategic: turning insight into structure and action

  • Creative: grounded in curiosity, innovation, and design methodology

  • Supportive: encouraging courage, confidence, and calm

I believe in building a coaching relationship that’s not prescriptive, but collaborative — one that helps you design your own blueprint for growth.

Who do I work with?

My clients are creative professionals and thoughtful leaders who are ready for change. They include:

  • Architects, designers, and educators navigating transition

  • Academics seeking renewed purpose in teaching or research

  • Entrepreneurs and creatives expanding their work with clarity

  • Professionals craving alignment between their career and their creative life

  • Students who are struggling to find their next strategic path

  • Young professionals wanting to gain the most out of their experiences and plan for their future

If you’re ready to move beyond uncertainty into meaningful momentum, we’ll design that path together, intentionally, and with heart.

What else do I do?

When I’m not teaching or coaching, you’ll find me sketching, writing, or dreaming up new projects, often at the intersection of design, storytelling, and personal growth. I draw inspiration from the chaos of everyday life: the accidental structures, the evolving forms, the spaces we build to hold our stories.
